James Cumines
I was born in Brisbane and studied at the University of Queensland and graduated in 1987 as a veterinary surgeon. I started
working as a vet in a mixed animal practice in Roma.
Following a 2 year working holiday in the UK, my wife Penny and I returned to Australia and in January 1994 we opened the
current vet surgery. Penny and I now have 3 boys, all at school, a dog "Portia" and a cat "Meow". When I am not working,
I enjoy kite surfing, soccer and tennis.
The highlight of my life was being able to travel around Australia with my family in 2004.
I have a special interest in dog and cat general medicine.
